A simple method has been described to remove catalyst from the copper mediated atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP) of benzyl methacrylate and methyl methacrylate in anisole at 25 °C using hydrated natural clay (sodium montmorillonite, Na‐clay). The method consists of (1) addition of hydrated clay (CuI/clay ≈ 5 wt.‐%) either during or after the polymerization, (2) oxidation of catalyst complex by exposing the terminated reaction mixture in air, and (3) filtration to obtain catalyst free polymer solution. A strong coordination of CuBr‐ligand complex onto hydrated clay (10 wt.‐% < H2O/clay < 30 wt.‐%) upon oxidation resulted in polymers with no or insignificant residual catalyst (<1.74 ppm), as determined by UV‐vis and atomic absorption spectroscopy. The recovered clay exhibited expanded intercalary layers and absence of polymer within it.

为合理描述人工冻结法施工的矿井土层力学特性,对某矿井土样的重塑土进行单轴抗压强度实验和单轴压缩蠕变实验,得到重塑冻结黏土在不同温度及载荷加载等级下的应力-应变曲线和蠕变曲线。实验结果表明:冻结温度越低,土样的单轴强度越大;相同冻结温度下,土样的蠕变变形随着应力水平的升高而增大。单轴压缩蠕变的等时应力-应变曲线随时间发展向应变轴靠拢;土样经历初始蠕变和等速蠕变两个阶段,在较高应力水平下有进入加速蠕变的趋势;对S-M模型中各参数的意义进行修正并考虑温度的影响,得到人工冻结黏土改进S-M蠕变显式模型,然后采用粒子群算法对人工冻结黏土S-M蠕变模型参数进行优化。改进S-M蠕变显式模型理论计算值与实验值吻合良好,表明改进S-M蠕变显式模型能较好模拟人工冻结黏土的蠕变特性。改进S-M蠕变显式模型为人工冻土蠕变计算提供一种新方法。  相似文献

为探讨含水率对非饱和黏土动态压缩特性的影响规律,利用分离式霍普金森压杆(SHPB)实验装 置,针对不同含水率非饱和黏土试样开展了侧限条件下的动态压缩实验。实验结果表明,在径向变形受到约 束时,当黏土中含有少量水时,比干黏土更容易压缩;而当含水率进一步增加时,试样在受压过程中逐渐接近 饱和状态,黏土的抗压性能则明显提升。从能量吸收与分配角度来看,随着含水率的增加,试样所吸收的总能 量在逐渐下降,体积改变能所占的比例逐渐增大,而形状改变能所占比例则逐渐减小。  相似文献

基于Perzyna 过应力理论,构造了一个土体各向异性弹黏塑性本构模型. 模型引入Wheeler 旋转硬化法则,能够较好的描述土体的初始各向异性和应力诱发各向异性. 借助ABAQUS 软件中UMAT 子程序接口,模型采用隐式积分算法——图形返回算法实现. 通过对一组复杂加卸荷路径的三轴不排水剪切试验(HKMD) 及一组分级加载三轴不排水蠕变试验(Sachville clay) 的模拟,表明本模型能够合理反映土体的率效应、应力松弛、蠕变及土体各向异性现象,验证了模型的有效性.  相似文献

Novel interpenetrating networks (IPNs) hydrogels responsive to temperature were prepared in situ by liquid-phase photopolymerization. The first network of the IPNs (poly isopropyl acrylamide) were formed with a special kind of hectorite (Laponite XLS) modified by tetrasodium pyrophosphate as cross-linker and 2-oxogultaric acid as photoinitiator. The samples were subsequently immersed in an acrylamide (AAm) aqueous solution for at least one day for preparing IPNs hydrogels, in which acrylamide aqueous solution containing N,N′-Dimetyl acrylamide (MBAA) as cross-linker and 2-oxogultaric acid as photoinitiator. Then the second networks were in situ formed by introducing ultraviolet light irradiated PNIPAAm gels. The swelling/deswelling behaviors of IPNs hydrogels were measured. Compared with the corresponding nanocomposite PNIPAAm hydroges(NC hydrogels), chemically cross-linked PNIPAAm and PAAm IPNs hydrogels, the results indicate that the new IPN hydrogel has a faster deswelling rate above its LCST (≈32 °C). The effect was explained as being an additional contribution of the PAAm chains in IPN hydrogels, which may act as a water-releasing channel when the hydrophobic aggregation of PNIPA takes place.  相似文献

将两种含铁柱撑膨润土(Fe-Al-Bent和Fe-Bent)用作复相光催化剂, 表征结果证实它们具有很高的比表面积, 铁以高催化活性的α-Fe2O3存在于复相催化剂中. 以甲基橙为目标降解物, 考察了不同类型的催化剂、催化剂用量以及H2O2浓度对其降解的影响, 并与相应的均相Fenton反应进行了比较. 结果表明: 两种复相光催化剂的催化脱色性能和CODCr去除率都很高, 明显优于相应的均相Fenton反应, 且复合铁铝柱撑膨润土(Fe-Al-Bent)比单一的铁柱撑膨润土(Fe-Bent)催化性能更好, 此外它们还具有分离简单、重复使用性好等特点.  相似文献

测量了聚氧乙烯(PEO)-粘土-K/Na插层复合物在不同相对湿度环境中的相对吸水量, 研究了相对吸水量与粘土层间距d001之间的关系, 并结合X射线光电子能谱的研究结果, 探讨了复合物中PEO、粘土与碱金属离子三者之间的相互作用. 在K-MMT-PEO复合物中, K与PEO和粘土表面都存在配合作用, 形成稳定的三元配合物, 在不同相对湿度下, K-MMT-PEO配合物吸水能力较低, 层间距基本不变. 在Na-MMT-PEO复合物中, Na与PEO形成配合物, 水分子能破坏Na-PEO之间的配合作用, 使PEO和Na各自形成水化层, 因此随着相对湿度的增加Na-MMT-PEO复合物的相对吸水量和层间距都增大.  相似文献

Summary: Shear‐induced orientation of nanoparticles in poly(ethylene oxide)/Laponite RD hydrogels has been investigated by small angle neutron scattering (SANS). As temperature is reduced, anisotropy develops at lower shear rates. The two‐correlation length Debye–Anderson–Brumberger (DAB) model provides a good fit to the experimental data. The deduced short‐range correlation length (≈5 nm) is observed to increase with shear. The long‐range correlation length (≈50 nm) shows a strong directional dependence, and decreases when shear is applied. The relative contribution of long‐range order to the SANS intensity is observed to increase with shear and decrease with temperature.

Summary: Nanocomposite gels (NC gels) consisting of poly(N-alkylacrylamides) and exfoliated inorganic clay were prepared by in-situ, free-radical polymerization at high yield under mild conditions (near ambient temperature, without stirring). Various shapes and different surface forms of NC gels were readily obtained using corresponding vessels and templates, since NC gels were always mechanically tough. The view that polymer/clay networks are formed in NC gels was supported by dynamic viscoelastic and swelling measurements. The entirely different mechanical properties of NC gels, compared with conventional, chemically-crosslinked hydrogels (OR gels), are discussed on the basis of their network structure. In addition to functions previously reported, NC gels exhibit further interesting characteristics, such as inherent incombustibility, good thermal conductivity, large heat capacity, they can be readily colored and fabricated as foams. NC gels can be utilized as environmentally-friendly, soft materials from the viewpoints of resources and waste, as their primary component is water.  相似文献
